Dr. Rasha Ringa is the Founder and General Manager of Pharma Knowledge Consulting and Services (PKCS), a Dubai-registered regulatory and compliance consulting firm serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies across Iraq, the UAE, and the wider Middle East. She works at the intersection of global regulatory standards and the realities of MENA market access — translating ICH, EU, and FDA frameworks into practical filings under Iraqi MOH, UAE MOHAP/EDE, and Saudi SFDA.
Regulatory expertise across Iraq, UAE, and the GCC
Dr. Ringa leads PKCS’s regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance practice. Her work covers the full product lifecycle: dossier preparation and submission, marketing authorization, post-approval lifecycle management, pharmacovigilance system setup and qualified person responsibilities (QPPV), GMP compliance and audit support, clinical trial application strategy, and local representative services for foreign manufacturers entering the region.
She works directly with the Iraqi Ministry of Health, the Iraqi Drug Regulatory Authority (IDRA), the State Company for Marketing Drugs and Medical Appliances (KIMADIA), the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), and the GCC Health Council. PKCS clients include innovator pharmaceutical companies, generics manufacturers, contract research organizations, and medical device manufacturers from Europe, North America, and Asia.
Why founder-led, regional consulting
PKCS was founded on a simple thesis: pharmaceutical companies entering Iraq and the GCC need a partner who understands both the global standards their dossiers were built against and the local procedures, language requirements, and informal practices that determine how quickly a submission moves. Dr. Ringa positions PKCS as that bridge — small enough to give every client direct senior-consultant attention, deep enough on regional regulatory authorities to avoid the rejections and delays that come from generic templates.
Regional context and language
PKCS operates in English and Arabic. Submissions in Iraq, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC markets routinely require Arabic labelling, patient information leaflets, and bilingual dossier components. Dr. Ringa and her team produce regulatory documentation in both languages and represent foreign manufacturers in front of regional authorities where Arabic is the working language.
